Episode 9
Luka's insecure trembling and the window falling twice capture the shape of love—don't miss out on this passionate confession arc!
Everyone's Reactions
Hearing that Lala has become a human from Shiga Prefecture, neither mermaid nor fully human, with her lifespan nearing its end, it feels both bittersweet and heartwarming. It was so touching to see Luka, despite being called a 'coward,' finally show his true colors, and the way he goes all-in like in a dating sim kept me glued to the screen. Seeing Mari-chan's window glass break again made me think of the phrase 'the anime where bridges fall twice,' and it was a nice surprise to find out that the organ sound I thought was part of the soundtrack was actually Shuya! We're still not sure if 'true love' is about just noticing someone or truly possessing them, but Lala looks like she's going to shine even brighter as we head toward the final battle on Okishima. The last five minutes and Yumijima Taikuu's song really resonated with me—I can't wait for next week's episode!
