50,000 yen plus a "scary story" as part of the package? For someone living paycheck to paycheck like me, that’s hard to turn down. I thought it was just another tale about a senior coworker’s crazy part-time job, but finding out her family home was actually haunted caught me off guard. It’s tough hearing about childhood trauma, but dad’s simple line, "I’m lonely," leaves you with a complicated mix of feelings. The regret came late, but once it’s told as a scary story, it still gives you the chills. I get why they’d pretend not to remember, though. Saw that note calling this season’s strongest Yami Karaoke ED, so the ending theme must’ve been pretty memorable too.
