Episode 13
The finale of Yamishibai Season 17, titled 'Farewell,' is packed with those classic 'The End' moments. But that brief pause right before the final curtain? Absolutely killer.
Everyone's Reactions
With the title 'Farewell' for the Season 17 finale, you can't help but feel a bit melancholic even before it starts. The darkness sets in right from the opening, and the plot twist of someone following the protagonist is pure horror gold—it’s exactly the kind of scenario that gets your heart racing. You just want to shout, 'Hey, stop following me!' inside your head. Those rapid-fire 'The End' sequences, reminiscent of Season 3's finale, along with that sweet smile at the very end, kept my eyes glued to the screen until the last second. Even though it was a summer season, the finale dragged into October, but that single line, 'That’s all,' gave it a proper sense of closure and left me feeling relieved. The Karaoke ED this season was also top-tier. I really have to say, Season 17 did us proud.
