Kawahara-chan's vacuum cooker is amazing, and seeing the photo Saijo-san took 30 years ago as a reference made me feel reassured that this huge dish is actually real. It seems the editor's push helped secure her cool-sounding name, but her ability to keep the meat from shrinking is seriously impressive. Still, even with the fantastic cooking equipment, watching Kawahara-chan mess up due to imbalanced fillings or unnecessary extra steps really makes you realize how important experience is. Saijo-chan's adorable habit of using her MD Walkman makes the 30 minutes fly by. I'm really looking forward to the taste of Fontu Fensu and the upcoming cooking battle with Akiyama-san!
