Jann's ability to make delicious dishes out of simple ingredients really shows her protagonist charm. The romance route Saito pushes also comes through beautifully in that scene where she hides her back scar, leaving you feeling all warm and fuzzy. The clapping sounds of Taikyoku Guoba and the recreated dishes from Akasaka Sichuan Restaurant feel incredibly real thanks to the high-quality direct audio recording. Plus, having Ota, who truly knows her palate, notice it all in the judges' panel makes her feel like a top-tier main heroine. I'm really looking forward to Jann's straightforward approach and Saito's direction in the next episode!
