Everyone's Reactions

It was great to hear that iconic 'bye-bye' line to the terrorists, and the scene where the bullet is bathed in light was truly gorgeous. I love how the thought tanks' weapons get neutralized and how the author just goes for it with cyberpunk visuals, but what really got me was Motoko's slightly heartbreaking decision to prioritize love. It's a bit complicated whether she was sold out for the Drug King's intel, but it's a relief to know she wasn't really a traitor. I keep wondering if Japan is really this prone to sudden terrorist attacks, but seeing Motoko fight so confidently in the midst of it all is so reassuring. I'm really looking forward to the next episode; it looks like we're in for another wonderful slice of cyberpunk world.
