So the Puppeteer naturally emerged on the net and took refuge inside the Major. It’s super modern and interesting how it claims human rights even without a physical body. We get to see the Major’s comical side and Batou’s sentimental side, adding warmth to the otherwise hardcore setting. The vocabulary was a bit abstract at first, but it makes sense that it’s clearly distinguished from the selfless chat AI. Kikuko Inoue’s voice is lovely too. I can’t wait to see how the Major and the Puppeteer merge! This episode makes you ponder what the world really is, and I’m excited for what comes next.
