Just knowing this episode tells the story of how Saku becomes Chitose-Saku makes my heart swell. Watching Asakaze and Saku scrub each other’s backs alone, then making jellyfish shapes with their towels, I can feel the tension from their closeness, but their innocent expressions make it so beautiful that you just naturally want to shout "Red Card!" It was also a nice treat to hear them announce during the pre-screening talk show that they’ll be doing the "gulping" culture thing together on air—it made me feel like I was drinking along with them. When asked, "Let me hear your story?" Saku’s past is described like a small stone thrown at someone... and with Aruma’s song playing at the end of their short yet long elopement, it really hit home.
