Episode 14
The journey on the limited express hits hard with "It's fine. If it's with you, even a mistake is okay." This episode will make you crave Bondy curry too...
Everyone's Reactions
The second cour kicks off with "The Elopement of Kimi and Senpai," following Sakuya and Asukaze as they head from Fukui to Tokyo. Just the title makes your heart squeeze. There's a fun behind-the-scenes tidbit about how they chose the Maibara route over the Hokuriku Shinkansen during the script meeting. It might be a bit rare these days, but they mentioned that the transfer moment really stirs up that travel vibe, and I totally get it. Seeing the line "It's fine. If it's with you, even a mistake is okay" paired with "For the first time, I thought Tokyo was beautiful" feels like the exact moment Asukaze's meaning of Tokyo completely shifts. I can just imagine how poignant it feels when aruma's "Doko ni mo Ikenai Mama" plays at the end of Asukaze's arc—it makes me wonder how many times I'll re-listen to it over the next three months. Also, it's so cute seeing Asu-nee blocking the right side of the escalator while the salaryman behind her gets annoyed; she still hasn't quite mastered Tokyo rules. Anyway, this episode seriously made me want some Bondy curry.
