The finale had me sobbing my eyes out during Fuyutsuki's goodbye. I really wished they’d stayed together a bit longer—I think I was literally wiping away tears in front of the screen. Knowing that Koharu was faking amnesia due to her serious illness from ST4 just makes your heart ache. But after their kiss in the hospital room, when she said, "I haven't forgotten," I felt so relieved and ended up crying happy tears. The ED kicking in at that exact moment totally caught me off guard, but it was definitely effective for the scene. Though it did leave me a bit confused like, "Wait, what was that narration about?" Still, she beat cancer, got married, had a daughter, and even made it to her own wedding! Watching Koharu live such a short yet rich and fulfilling life makes you feel grateful for the happy ending. And who would've thought that would be her last yukata appearance? I'm left with such a cute afterglow as we wrap up the final episode.
