I couldn’t help but laugh at how ridiculously specific the fireworks worker’s name was, but yeah, working as a fireworks attendant is no joke—I totally get it. The scene where Koharu pushes him away in the hospital room really hit hard, and then there’s that bit where Yuuko and Narumi visit him on a different day, only for him to have no memory of it, leaving things feeling awkward and underwhelming. It actually made my heart ache just watching. It’s so cruel to tell someone who’s struggling, "Let’s keep pushing forward," isn’t it? You can really feel the atmosphere where he just has to respond with a polite smile. And seeing Ramen Benkei in Monzen-nakacho pop up as a real-life location spot makes me love how grounded this story feels. With the title "Always by Your Side," I’m dying to see how they wrap everything up in the remaining episodes!
