Episode 2

The attention to detail in reacting to the Nankai doors with 'Ah, that's a Nankai train'... and even the Chinese font matches the real thing! The episode wraps up with all the Tetsudou Musume singing the ED together.

Everyone's Reactions

Episode 2’s title, "What is this Tetsuryo-kai?", piqued my curiosity, so I watched it with excitement wondering what exactly it was. The ED, "Watashi Miraisen," is sung by Mei Tachibana and three others, featuring a stylishly energetic montage of the entire Tetsudou Musume cast and even using Tomitec models. The Choshi Electric Railway takes center stage, bringing up local treats like nure-senbei and masui-bou, and there’s even a mention of the movie "Don't Stop the Train!", which really highlights the depth of the local setting. It was heartwarming to see the original author tweet happily about how much they enjoyed the positive reactions to their first original anime created from scratch. As someone who loves the little details, I couldn’t help but appreciate how carefully scenes like ticket checks and tablet exchanges were depicted.
