Everyone's Reactions

The contrast between the Fujimiya brothers is so nice—Takao as the battle-hardened warrior and Rikuya as the brains. Plus, big bro Rikuya is so polite, and it turns out he’s the current head of the Eastern royal line. The lore about him ruling Yoh Country as a survivor of the royal family, wielding the Dragon-Severing Sword adorned with blue diamonds, looks super cool. Ars visits Shin’s airship workshop, and that comedic explosion caused by the potion was exactly what I expected—it made me laugh. After that, he meets up with Mika-chan and Rikuya and immediately starts trying to recruit them, which feels very much like Ars’ energetic self. But everyone says if Lisia gets serious, there’s no stopping her, and they’re right—she’s definitely the number one person not to anger in this series. A lot of people mentioned loving her sudden emotional shifts, and I feel the same way; I want to see more of those expressions! Still, it’s a bit worrying that even while fleeing, the royal family member doesn’t hide their sword or family crest. They have skills to fight unseen opponents, but life is only worth one, and first-time encounters can be terrifying.
