Everyone's Reactions
Overcoming that 20,000 to 80,000 troop disadvantage for a big win is seriously impressive. Plus, seeing Fam pull off her undercover work while cross-dressing is both hilarious and so reliable. Ars was able to withstand Bortz's attack because he trusted the armor Leitz gave him, and it feels great that his trust was rewarded. Seeing Leitz cry actually brought tears to my eyes too. Ars using drones is just terrifyingly awesome, but this victory was possible because everyone believed in each other. Re-reading it fills me with emotion every time. The ED song "Days Beyond" has the subtitle "Lamb of the Next Night," and I get happy every time I see that. Next up is "The Last Days of Basmark," right? The title sounds a bit heavy, but I'm looking forward to it.
