Even though there was no rain forecast, Haruhi's feelings somehow rewrote the world, leading to that precious shared umbrella moment. I really felt like this was a special 'dere' episode. Maybe she was tired from the Summer's Endless Eight, but watching Nagato silently put a cardigan on Kyon and tell little lies in the club room felt like a subtle foreshadowing of the bugs in The Disappearance—so bittersweet. The overlapping lines about their 'doodles' showed how similar their thought processes are, which was really heartwarming. With the Culture Festival wrapped up, it felt like a fitting finale, and I deeply felt that this quiet time in the club room was exactly what Nagato wanted most. I'm looking forward to what happens next!
