When Sasaki asked, "You're not saying you'll come back next year...?", it hit me hard. It’s amazing how something so clear and resonant can come from a relationship that’s supposed to be nameless. That was definitely the most heartwarming moment in Part A. Yamada is down with a cold, but I love how Sasaki casually handles the manager's request to make a phone call for her. It’s such a subtle touch of consideration. Even Manager Goto is overjoyed, and the vibe between these three is just so cozy. The greeting "Aren't you here to die?" got the most likes, but I think that’s exactly what makes this show great—being able to exchange New Year's greetings with that perfect distance. The fig smoke in the OP is cute every time, and hearing Sasaki’s Mie dialect just adds to that sense of familiarity. Looks like the final episode will air 30 minutes late, but the subtitle hints that their relationship continues. I’ll definitely be live-tweeting next week!
