Ao and Daichi take on the kaiju class! Yukio returns to the front lines in his new form, weaving a kaiju war with the defense line of the 3D-printed school building, as the terrifying combination of Vielde closes in!
Ao-san and Daichi’s combo is so reliable, and it’s awesome how a name like 'Human Daichi' fits perfectly for a giant kaiju. I was really moved when the animation style shifted to show Daichi’s determined face right as he was about to get blasted by Vielde’s attack! Yukio’s new form is cute, and it was great to see him back in action so quickly. Plus, seeing everyone at the mall pitch in—using the 3D printer and the bicycle-powered emergency generator—was such a relief. I’m also curious about how Tetsuo turns Sagami into a friend opportunity, and how the story focuses more on human conflicts rather than just humans vs. kaiju. I can’t wait to see how Ao and Yukio step up even more in episode 10!
