As Ogura-chan’s struggles intertwine with the Colonel’s itchy eyes, our hearts leap at the thrilling moment when Verde appears!
Episode 5, "Good Job," lives up to its title with Ogura-chan’s truly heartwarming performance. Seeing the E-RDE light—Verde—take shape just made my heart squeeze. The Colonel suddenly showing up and scratching his eyes was adorably funny, and the setting of powerful beings trying to dominate humans felt surprisingly relatable to our own reality. Yukio’s Zzz eyes were a treat, and it’s nice to see Tetsuo gaining a new family and letters, while Takimura is solidifying her spot as a heroine candidate. There are still some details to catch up on, like the weapon that seals eating habits and the time shifts affecting the past and future, but overall, it felt like being wrapped in the words "Good Job." The special ED was lovely too, and I can’t wait for next week!
