We waited ten long years for Rem to wake up. The moment Subaru called her a 'hero' and the Season 1 OP started playing, it felt like time stopped right there. The contrast between Rem, who we fell for back in Season 1, and the two of them starting over from scratch in Season 4 was just so beautiful... And Shaula! She’s been watching over her Master in the Watchtower for hundreds of years. Subaru entered her mind, gave her a kiss, and even turned into a little scorpion at the end, but she was adorable throughout. You definitely have to watch the 'Scorpion Fairy Tale' during the break too. Seeing Kobayashi-san’s 'Welcome back. I missed you.' and Minase Inori’s 'I finally met you' comments made me cry all over again after the broadcast ended. I keep wondering when we’ll see them next, but as long as this world where they can meet continues to exist, I’m happy to wait however many years it takes.
