The contrast between the call to the sister miko and that gut-wrenching part is just perfect! With Punk Dara-san making an appearance, this busy episode packed with seriousness, gags, and horror gets a huge cheer!
In the episode of the Fifth Strange, the busy interplay between serious moments, gags, and horror was fantastic, especially with that satisfying emotional drop in the gut-wrenching part. The contrast between the grotesque atmosphere of the past and her modern-day look with cropped hair was really interesting. We got a gentle depiction of Dara-san transitioning from punk to her usual laid-back self, and then back to her wild side. Her vampire-like setting where you can't enter unless invited, and the episode where her friends act a bit rude, really highlighted her versatile side. Since it was Hinata's birthday and focused on her mom, you could really feel how the kids have grown up to be strong and kind. The descriptions of the dakimakura and her butt also felt oddly endearing. I'm looking forward to next episode's developments, but first, I just want to see more of Dara-dara-dara-san's everyday life.
