I couldn't help but smirk at Shampoo’s thigh scene; she acts like it’s so cute while showing them off, which is basically just being mean. Akane’s banana-print swimsuit is also super unique and hilarious, but there’s something uniquely Ranma 1/2 about how everyone looks adorable in swimwear. Happosai turning into a handsome young man in his youth was a fun twist, and Inoue’s vocal range really blew me away. Hearing it alongside Kazuhiko’s cool voice made it even more entertaining, and I could feel the youthful energy of 18-year-old Happosai shining through. Happosai and Cologne’s description of Ranma and Akane as being "seriously on another level of bad terms" was spot-on and easy to relate to. They really have a long-standing rivalry; I’ve loved them since their days as the Ishino couple in the original series. It turns out Ranma also got soaked at the sea in this anime-original scene, which finally explains why he was dripping wet in the preview. I’m determined to stay awake and watch live next week!
