The opening sequence is so cool it made my back straighten up right from the start. It’s also nice that there’s no weirdness in the voice acting overall. Yashina noticing the weakness immediately was surprising—I found myself thinking, 'Wait, could you see that already?' I get the feeling she’ll be a big help in battles ahead. With the telecards gone and only what looks like Mt. Fuji visible, it feels like they’re searching for a public phone in another world, kinda Matrix-style. You can’t help but wonder where their confidence comes from, thinking there aren’t any monsters around (lol), even though they really should be on edge. Before Tachiryu gets punched, the character who looked like they were about to mutter 'That guy’s definitely bad' turned out to be a loyal, easy-to-talk-to delinquent. I like that Hiryu can actually apologize properly... The ED visuals of kid Yasha and Amamiya are really good and tug at your heartstrings. I’ve been waiting for the line 'Teach me... ah... no!'—thank you for letting us see them move again.
