Miraidon and Koraidon made a few cameo appearances in the new main series and even showed up in the Chapter 1 ending theme, but it took three whole years for them to finally have their proper debut in the main story. It really feels like we’ve been waiting to meet them again. The scene where Rika feeds them and they bond was adorable yet cool—the expression 'cute but dignified' fit perfectly. I get why some people might joke that she’s treating them too much like pets, but it’s also nice to just accept it since they are wild Pokémon after all. Their transformation into Battle Form right as they face off after dropping out of the race was super intense. Watching their moves collide was genuinely heart-pounding. It was especially cool knowing Professor Leha was there watching them along with everyone else. That said, I totally get the comment saying, 'They’re just fighting on their own without asking.' It’s a bit silly but lovable how two Pokémon who were just being used as rides suddenly turn around and start battling each other. The part where they almost fall off was pretty charming too. It was such an Anipoke episode, with legendary Pokémon blending so seamlessly into everyday life. I’m really looking forward to seeing how they’ll appear next time!
