Episode 137

Everyone's Reactions

It’s hilarious how they boldly use the name Tōnan Sports, which is clearly poking fun at the real-life Tōspō, right in the show. The reactions like "Sports papers were more peaceful back then" and "Just cancel it" really hit the same spot for everyone. Papara Chikage appeared as a camerawoman! It’s so cool to see her on Oshiri Detective; she wrote about how much fun it was, which made me smile knowing there are such warm stories behind guest appearances. The setting that Tokage and Asari both sticking out their tongues is a shared trait? The person who noticed that first is amazing. Also, I heard if the anti-theft system had been on her shell, she would’ve gotten scolded. Those subtle, detailed jokes are such a charm of Oshiri Detective. There were even comments about how cute the Sotheby’s staff member was, so I got curious about these side characters too. Every episode has these little discoveries that make you want to rewatch it right after finishing.
