Wrapped in the quiet tension of the eve of war, the mob soldiers' life-or-death resolve really tugs at your heart! With Kaku's glasses-wearing, kuudere charm adding to the mix, the historical setting suddenly feels so real...
Episode 6, "The Eve of War," was genuinely hot-blooded, not just because of the main cast, but thanks to the mob uncles whose life-or-death resolve made my heart swell. I get why they march leisurely to avoid being caught in a pincer attack, but seeing them button their coats with such meaning and tousle their hair makes you feel like, "Yeah, they really have no choice but to fight." Kaku's lovestruck, glasses-wearing kuudere vibe and Wajima's cute self-awareness added some heartwarming moments amidst the war. The continuous moments of straightforward determination perfectly fit the phrase "不惜身命" (willing to give up everything), and I'm really looking forward to the next episode.
