Episode 5
Spooked by the blood-soaked Mari-chan, I laughed at Jimmy's tree-climbing punchline... short and sweet!
Everyone's Reactions
The blood-soaked Mari-chan was genuinely scary, especially with that smooth transition from Rima to Mari through the mirror. Even though her design looked like a quick doodle in a painting app, those bright red eyes really sent chills down my spine. Jimmy managed to climb the tree, but seeing him tumble down made me feel so bad for him. I even heard someone say how cute MOMO's scream was, which added a nice little healing moment amidst the scares. It was weird that everyone stayed calm while the dog-faced creature was just chatting away normally. It’s funny how you don’t find it strange when a dog talks—it’s a vibe I can totally relate to. The whole episode felt like it only lasted about five minutes, leaving me wanting more. Leaving Karakara Natsukawa behind was pretty hilarious, though I wish they’d dug a bit deeper into his situation. I wonder what new urban legend will pop up next week? I’m excited to see how Fushigi-kun and the Blue Umbrella Man get involved.
