Who knew Rui was such a sickly, beautiful boy? It’s so touching to think he was surrounded by his parents' love yet still carried such a twisted view of family. It’s great that he was able to fight Tanjiro and rediscover that warmth. Poor Giyu, getting stepped on at the end—knowing his backstory makes it look even more pitiful. Giyu’s line, "I’m not hated," and Shinobu’s vein-popping expression really highlight their unique dynamic in a fun new way. Kanao is also so reliable, managing to give clear instructions despite her struggle with emotions. I’m really looking forward to the next arc!
