The mother spider’s DV-like relationship was so heartbreaking, and I couldn’t help but get teary-eyed when Tanjiro delivered his final strike with Heavenly Dripping Mercy. I really love how Tanjiro understands the suffering of his father and Rui, even though he can’t forgive the fact that they killed people. His kindness and judgment are just top-notch. The way Inosuke lifts Tanjiro up in their coordinated attack was also amazing—it’s simple, but it’s reassuring to have him around. Now that the mother spider has found peace, I hope she’s reborn into a loving family. Even though it was a short episode, it was packed with emotional ups and downs, making it one I definitely want to rewatch.
