Everyone's Reactions
"The terrifying Great King & Invader"—that phrase really gave me chills. There's a real sense of weight to it, especially with Pekopon being destroyed because of the 500-year-old promise, and I was pretty surprised when the girl fell from the sky. Fuyuki-kun's serious rage is exactly what people say: those who don't get angry often are the scariest. Just seeing that picture of his furious face makes my spine stiffen up. I'm starting to think he might actually be the strongest person in this world when he's truly mad. Since we can time-travel back to 1999, it was nice to see Moa wearing bloomers and feel that slight shift in era vibes. Someone posted that if you read the ED lyrics as a nod to the potential anime revival, they fit surprisingly well. As someone who loved the original series, lines like "All the memories I don't want to lose are held within these hands" really warm my heart.
