You just can't help but shout "Super-chan!!!" as the episode unfolds. Even though Dango's body is pushed to its absolute limit and falling apart, seeing her give it her all really tugs at your heartstrings. After witnessing the mercilessness and monster-level power of the Black Armors, I totally get why Mr. Koshita, Sayo, and Ran were whispering nervously during their first ADR session: "She's seriously strong... do you think Dango and the others can actually win?" And it’s so relatable that Ogata Kou-chan, despite her cute name, keeps getting called "Croissant Girl" because it’s just easier to remember. It made me want to laugh out loud. Dappei-kun’s line, "Rivals are treasures," is simple but really sticks with you. Even if they lose, knowing that phrase is there gives you the feeling that it’ll be fuel for their next challenge. Plus, Mr. Koshita’s hastily drawn illustration and even a bonus script that didn’t make it to the broadcast were revealed, making me feel the production team’s love and care.
