The title of episode 5, 'I'll Hold an Umbrella for You in the Rain,' already makes my heart flutter. I heard the story is set in Gunma Prefecture, and while it feels like it's entirely dominated by the Maebashi Witches—which makes me, a Kanto local, a bit curious—it actually amps up that nostalgic youth vibe. Haibara-kun, who should be on his second loop of life, is somehow getting advice from a first-loop girl, and his laid-back approach to youth is just so charming. Mio looks a bit down, teetering on the edge of a dark turn, and their relationship is super intriguing. It's funny that he feels like he's being called a virgin because of his voice, but the details that tickle our otaku hearts are everywhere: the height difference, their fashion sense, and even video calls with the opposite sex. As I watch them, I can't help but think, 'You're the one changing the future,' and that gentle gesture of holding an umbrella just warms my heart. I can't wait for the next episode!
