All the first-act foreshadowing, from bug-squashing to gu poison, is perfectly wrapped up! And then, out of nowhere, a tsundere hand-holding moment between Keigetsu and Reirin in the middle of all that seriousness... The finale is next week already?!

I can't believe we're only a few months in since July started, but the finale is coming up next week. It feels so bittersweet. After all that intense drama, we get a sudden comedy break from Reirin and Keigetsu-sama. Their first joint effort isn't even cake-cutting—it's centipede-squashing (almost)! It’s hilarious. It’s so heartwarming to see Reirin, who never had anyone she could truly connect with because of her high-class status, finally making a real friend. The way the first-act clues are neatly tied up over three episodes—gu poison in ep 3, self-defense in ep 2, and bug-squashing in ep 1—is just so satisfying. You can’t help but go, "Ah, that’s it!" as you watch. There seems to be an event before the broadcast on September 20th too, so I want to enjoy every moment until the very end before we say goodbye.
