Episode 3

Everyone's Reactions

When "My Bulma" came on, my heart almost stopped. But it’s pretty likely that Vegeta had a hand in the script since his takoyaki cooking and Bingo moments were completely cut, erasing those black history points as if they never happened. I was a bit surprised to see Yamcha voiced by Ryota Suzuki instead of Toru Furuya while watching. I assumed most of the cast remained from the original Super era, so with Buu’s voice also changing, I guess I really need to double-check the credits again. I noticed Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 2 aura was purple when he got furious, which has sparked theories about him showing a glimpse of his "Way of Selfishness." It’ll be interesting to see how much more it escalates in the next episode. It was reassuring to see that King Vegeta and young Prince Vegeta looked exactly like they did in Z during the flashback scenes.
