Episode 4

Everyone's Reactions

It's a bit bittersweet to see Inspector Inukai come to Inspector Megure's police box for an evaluation, like she's being taken back by her old partner. But Inspector Inukai's "uncontrollable weirdness" is the highlight of this episode; it was fun imagining her going crazy in front of young lady Na-chan. Nana'in has a reputation for staying cool all the time, so seeing her contrast with Inukai is entertaining. The development of getting a "point deduction" during the evaluation probably resonated with everyone. Also, since Inspector Megure isn't technically an inspector by rank, he's basically just a constable in the end—that kind of detail makes you want to point it out.
