Episode 2

Everyone's Reactions

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Game era parody is absolutely top-tier. Seeing him go through the whole 'I'll teach you about card damage!' routine before finally shouting 'Bring it back...' just hits so hard for early Duel Monsters fans. And naming his deck the 'Blood Tax Deck' using state funds? I love it, even if it makes me want to point out how ridiculously expensive it is. In the episode where they're looking for the cat, Matabi gets repeated so many times that it feels like a genuine curse. The new characters, Ori no-ban and Kadota, are super intriguing thanks to the pairing of Shoya Chiba and Tomokazu Sugita. I almost want to enter the lottery for signed scripts just for them. I'm also curious to hear the non-credit ED 'See You Tomorrow,' and I'm really looking forward to seeing how next week's 'Biggest Job' plays out.
