Everyone's Reactions

The subtitle "Entrance to Summer" fits so perfectly with that rusty blue vibe. It was great how this atmosphere set the stage for the start of Yo-hen. Right after seeing those melancholic eyes, hearing "Thank you for noticing me" makes your chest tighten up. All the emotions piled up from last week make even her smile feel a bit bittersweet. Yo-hen is really about setbacks and giving up, showing how easily high schoolers—those in-between kids and adults—can break over small things. It’s such a poignant story. I wonder if that slightly deeper, more mature tone of the captain during the basketball scene helped bring out that vibe? "I hope this summer will be even better than last year." "Just like back then..." Even just those two lines make me nostalgic for last summer, leaving me with mixed feelings. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they depict the overlapping summers of Yo and Saku from here on out.
