Everyone's Reactions

I kinda love the protagonist's chill vibe as they apologize to their friends after two years of being a shut-in, and everyone is like, 'Well, I guess we'll let it slide.' But then Cool Dragon shows up, saying something along the lines of 'We would've been doomed without you,' which gives me that little heart-flutter. It captures both the relief of making it back to safety and the tension of not letting your guard down just yet. There are a few scenes where they go, 'Huh, something weird's happening,' or 'Oh, here comes another weird thing,' and I feel like that sudden shift in tone during serious moments is exactly the kind of atmosphere this series has. At the same time, there seem to be genuinely tear-jerking moments too, so the balance between its laid-back nature and its poignant side feels just right. I'm also really curious about the ED song 'Role-Playing Life,' so I can't wait for next week!
