Episode 49
Ichigo and Uryu's combined technique goes off! And it’s not just Ichigo—everyone is fighting with their full strength in the final battle. The episode 'Our Right Hands' was so heartwarming!
Everyone's Reactions
When Ichigo swings Zangetsu, signaling the end of a millennium-long blood feud, that final moment really made my chest swell up with emotion. The combined technique between Ichigo and Uryu, which they joked about in the early Substitute Shinigami arc as theoretically possible, finally gets properly acknowledged at the end. I totally get why fans are so excited about this, especially since they only fought together once in the original manga. It was satisfying to see everything come full circle—like Suì Fēng’s Bankai, which had been underutilized for so long, stepping up, or the thrust power of Raikōben proving useful in the final stretch. It all clicked into place with a satisfying 'Ah, that makes sense.' Plus, the TV series wraps up next week after running for about 22 years... I can only imagine how nostalgic and emotional it must feel for those who grew up with BLEACH. I also love how Grimmjow gets even more spotlight than in the manga, almost becoming a deuteragonist on the Vasto Lorde side. It’s such a fun anime-only twist.
