Night Vice-Captain’s backstory really hit hard. It’s that whole thing about how much the older brother loved his younger sibling, and vice versa. The line "From the shadows, using evil to destroy evil" pierced right through me. It really shows that taking on the Demon Forbidden Art wasn’t a risk taken lightly. I got chills when I learned their names: Morgen (Morning) and Night (Night). And hearing them call the new 'Morning' black but full of hope? I almost cried. The way those twin-like demons merge by absorbing each half mirrors Night Vice-Captain, who lost Morgen and took on his appearance. It’s a bit unsettling to have that connection thrust in our faces as we face off against the enemy. It was also cool to see the young Yami Captain exuding such protagonist vibes. The special OP arrangement used during key moments and the ending felt like a unique touch for this season. Next up is Saturday at 11 PM! With Morgen’s character info now revealed, I can’t wait to see how this twin story unfolds.
