Ryuhō’s bamboo sword actually snaps! Even though the comments say 'bamboo swords don’t usually break,' it totally fits Baki Dou to pull off something so unexpected. His approach before going for the Aiki was more about crushing you with timing than pure technique, which gave me chills. I really love Dr. Shibukawa’s perspective of seeing Ruyao as 'an opponent I can’t beat even though my self-defense is complete.' Watching a fight from the eyes of the strong adds a whole different layer of tension. Seeing Yujiro and Hon'inbō Isshō together in the same frame got me hyped, and their greeting strike was already full-power from the start—so cool. The title is 'Friend (Dachi),' but seeing that skyscraper window go flying makes you wonder what kind of shape this friendship will take. It was a bit on the longer side, but it left a nice lingering feeling.
