Aki's words to Yuu really hit me right in the feels. I saw the author mention they cried during their first read-through, and honestly, I felt exactly the same way. Since we've been hoping all along that Yuu would make friends, reading that this episode finally gave us a sense of relief made me sigh with them. The line "Yuu is just such a noob" really stings, but it makes Aki's "thank you" resonate even more. It's reassuring to know that while Yuu was abandoned by their family, Aki and the others didn't turn away. Most people reacted to the "She's alive!?" moment, and I can see why—what happened in the hospital was genuinely chilling. With flashbacks woven in, it balanced serious moments with comedy, creating such a huge emotional rollercoaster. I'm still wondering about Natsuki, since it was mentioned she isn't saved yet... I hope her storyline kicks off next episode; I can't look away. By the way, I heard Blu-ray Vol. 1 is releasing in January 2027, and I'm curious about the exclusive clear pouch illustrated by Katsuo-sensei. I think I'll pre-order once the broadcast wraps up.
