Lucy is totally smitten and pushing forward, which makes sense since Makoto saved her life. I really get why Makoto uses Meikyo Suijō; his calm demeanor is so relatable. Her enthusiastic entrance, even after clashing with her previous party, is cute, though it looks like she might be in for a bit of trouble. I thought having multiple casts of Bakuen Magic per day would make her superior to someone who can only use one big explosion, but her long chant time and lack of control are causing issues. She’s even burning down the forest, so it’s no wonder she’s being compared to Megumin. The dragon CG looks like the production team put in some effort, but I actually let out a "Hyan!" when the lake disappeared along with it. Her line, "Companions are good, old man," felt surprisingly warm. Those little one-liners really capture the show's vibe. I wonder what happens next? I’m a bit worried Lucy’s Bakuen Magic might just destroy something else.
