The afterglow of the finale hits you slowly but surely! As Yasiro and Kazuma's perceptions intertwine, their dance of lies and honesty tugs at your heartstrings...
In the finale, "The Hero's Lie," it was so heartwarming to realize that Yasiro was kind to that goofy guy pulling off a robbery-like stunt because she knew he was on her level. New Hero candidate Jinguji Kazuma seems to have Ether Perception so powerful it makes Yasiro cringe, but it turns out that when perception skills reach their peak, they edge closer to precognition. The idea that "the honest man can't beat the liar" stuck with me, and seeing King Arthur explicitly call Master Takamiya his "friend" softly resolved a relationship that had been on my mind for a while. After cheering them on for six months, this finale had enough emotional punch to make you want to rewatch it over and over. I can't wait to see how Kazuma's Ether Perception blossoms in the next episode!
