Despite the title "A Way Out," the atmosphere is suffocatingly tight, like we're stuck in a dead-end. The home front is plotting to seize Ilya, but since it’s militarily unrealistic, they want to push for negotiations. It really reminded me of myself dealing with my boss’s unreasonable demands at work. Having someone smile brightly and say, "No way. We can’t win," is actually reassuring because they’re just being direct. And honestly, I get why Degurechaf Major is so bold—she’s the type who doesn’t hold back at all! Colonel Rergen looks like he’s having a tough time too. You want to shout "Hang in there, Rergen!" but you’re curious how the Empire’s overall direction will shift. If Konrad is as shrewd as he seems, the next move could be scary. Also, with Tanya herself singing "Weiter! Weiter!" for the ED, hearing Aoi Yuuki’s voice makes me want to rewatch it every time after the broadcast.
