She actually fired! The palpable tension on the battlefield, where the line between uniformed soldiers and civilians is clearly drawn, is perfectly amplified by Yuuki Kaji's stellar performance.
Tanya’s cold-blooded nature really shines when she indirectly confirms that there are no civilians around. The hesitation over whether to spare or kill the children is beautifully conveyed through Yuuki’s acting, showing his transformation from a soldier filled with hatred to one driven by revenge—it really drives home the harshness of war. While the partisan uprising and Anson Sue’s divine inspiration are intriguing, what’s most amusing is how divine favor is actually piling up enemies for Tanya. Since it’s a different world, the Alzans’ loyalty doesn’t matter as much, which is one of the story’s greatest charms. I’m curious to see how Tanya expands her front lines next, and I’m looking forward to seeing the magical UI in action.
