The General Staff is partying hard at the beer hall, and even Lord Zettour, who’s been abstaining from alcohol, takes a sip! As they pray for divine protection, the heat of the battlefield rises in full force!
While the General Staff is chilling and feasting at the beer hall, it’s a bit bittersweet to see Degurechaff pushing herself to the limit while the upper crust fumbles with how to use their victory. It’s fun seeing the Federal leadership in action, but 'God' is still a forbidden word for Tanya. When that line, 'May God’s protection be absent,' aired during the rerun, it really hit me right in the feels. With Season 2 kicking off on July 8th, I’m excited to see how Tanya’s rebellion against God unfolds, especially with the voice acting to enjoy. I’m also curious whether the sinking of the luxury liner will lead to the Empire declaring war, or if the conflict will just drag on in another way. Can't wait for next episode!
