It’s so awesome seeing the original team back in their armor, all together again. Watching Sasuke step up like the true protagonist and fight as the Emperor of the Demon Realm, you can feel the weight of his feelings that refused to run away despite the poison—it’s genuinely touching. The show also nailed Kaede’s honest fear and Sagume’s tsundere side, but with characters dropping like flies, it’s hard to look away to see who’ll survive next. It was great to see Nastya return, having accepted Narumi’s feelings, and I’m really looking forward to her dynamic with Shimei. I’ll be keeping a close eye on how Sasuke’s challenge against Rashinai unfolds in the next episode.
