Asa is shaking with rage, but the real Kusoaki returns, sending Kinta into a trembling frenzy in this intense episode!
Gabu-chan’s art got all wonky from anger, but it’s the real deal, so I’m relieved! The contrast with Akio-chan’s innocent, wide eyes was super cute, and it’s nice to see Asa with a reliable peer by her side. Kinta’s scream was so powerful it made me shiver, and his line, “I’m not sure I can spare you,” really hit home. The clash between the barbarian and the civilized man gets complicated with Ishida Akira’s involvement, but that complexity seems to be driving the drama. Kuno’s chills-inducing voice was amazing, and I’m looking forward to seeing what Namo-mihagi and the Hyakki Yagyo do next. It was an episode where tears and anger intertwined, and Asa’s emotions really came through—I felt like I was going to cry right along with her.
