Welcome to the Lower World! The creditless OP and ED movies are absolutely stunning, and the start of the second cour feels wonderfully nostalgic as we see everyone hard at work with their troublesome tasks.
The twist that the fake girl is actually Grandma's Tsugai makes me wonder how their relationship will get even more complicated if Tsagai can break the contract on her own will. Azami gets snatched away via spatial transfer, and Mom's mysterious but reliable moves in the Lower World have us wondering where she'll end up next. Both the new OP, "back shot," and the new ED, "Kujaku," fit the vibe perfectly, and Kujaku-chan's debut in the ending is just so adorable. Next week, episode 14 focuses on family and friends, leaving us curious about what's happening with Magatsuki and Hayami from the stray Tsagai group. True to the phrase 'resist your fate,' it looks like a new battle is about to begin, so I'm eagerly looking forward to the next episode!
