Episode 9 just wouldn’t stop talking about poop. I almost yelled at my screen, “Are we only going to talk about poop today?” Honestly, I get why people call this one of the dirtiest scenes in anime history, especially with the older sister’s terrible remarks. But seeing the little sister shine and win everyone over was such a Yane Neko-style redemption. Her sweet moments with Jiko-chan really purified my soul! And Shizue? She’s terrifyingly unpredictable. The woman who completely ignores warning text, or the mom who somehow turns into a poop monster without even trying—it’s hilarious how much we viewers get dragged along. Poor Daruo-sensei suffered through that time-attack-level pain; it was almost too much to watch. I’m so excited to see what happens next week!
